Sergei Dragunov — Matchups
Toughest
- Kuma — Hitbox quirks make some Drag combos drop on Kuma. df+2 launcher still works but the optimal route changes. Drag still wins, just less cleanly.
- Yoshimitsu — Yoshi's flash steal and unblockable mids force Drag to defend, which isn't Drag's strength. Patient Yoshi mains take this 5-5.
- Bryan — Bryan's range matches Drag's. Snake-edge wars at neutral. Decided by execution.
- King — King's chain throws bypass Drag's defense. Drag has no answer once King gets a clean throw start.
- Lili — Lili's backdash and sway evade Drag's df+3,1 string. Tough fight at range.
Easiest
- Asuka — Asuka has no answer to Drag's df+2 + db+3 mix. Free 7-3.
- Steve — No lows = Drag db+3 is a free win button. 8-2.
- Alisa — Alisa's hitbox is small but her offense is slow. Drag's whiff punish game eats her.
- Eddy — Eddy's reads are easy to call out with Drag's homing wr+2.
- Jin — Drag's df+2 tracks Jin's sidestep right. Outranges EWHF at most distances.
Sidestep: Drag mains step LEFT vs most opponents. Vs Mishimas, step LEFT to dodge EWGF/EWHF after blocking df+1. Vs Bryan, step RIGHT vs b+1.
