Alisa Bosconovitch — Matchups
Toughest
- Dragunov — Drag's `df+2` outpaces Alisa's `1,2,d+2` chainsaw mix and his wr+2 homing eats her Boot-up stance entry. Drag's mobility erases Alisa's setup advantage.
- Reina — Sentai launcher catches Alisa's Chainsaw stance commits and EWGF beats her startup frames. After 3.00 tracking buff to `df+2`, Alisa traded some Reina edge — but Reina still wins.
- Nina — Nina's SS+4 launches Alisa's whiffed Chainsaw mids and i10 jabs interrupt her bomb setups. Don't commit to setplay against Nina's poke neutral.
- Jun — Jun's parry reads Alisa's high-mid setplay easily and Genjitsu launcher catches Chainsaw recovery. Tough setup-vs-setup matchup.
- Feng — Shifting Clouds power-crushes Alisa's commits and Feng's parry beats her high-heavy strings. Honest range war Feng wins.
Easiest
- Kuma — Alisa's `1,2,d+2*` chainsaw launcher and bomb setups dominate Kuma's slow defense. Detachable head bomb ends Kuma rounds in two combos.
- King — Alisa has no throw tech in close range so she dies to chains — but her mobility evades ff+1+2 from neutral. Stay outside chain throw range, then Chainsaw whiff-punish.
- Asuka — Asuka's parry can't read Alisa's Chainsaw stance switches. Bomb setups + `df+2` (now tracking) mid forces guess-state.
- Paul — Deathfist whiffs against Alisa's sidewalk. Her `df+2` (i14 mid launcher) whiff-punishes Paul's commits for full combo.
- Steve — Steve has no lows — Alisa stands and Chainsaw-mixes. Detachable head bomb breaks Steve's sway stance for guaranteed setup.
Sidestep: Alisa sidesteps RIGHT vs most right-handed strings — Chainsaw stance favors RIGHT side punish angles. Vs Mishimas, sidestep RIGHT during `df+1` recovery for Chainsaw whiff punish. Vs grapplers, Boot-up stance evades throws via airborne state.
